In-Frame compatibility

The software includes tools for marking the measured lens contour for assessing its performane in frame. In addition, the user can load a frame contour le and overlay it on the power and cyl maps for verifying comaptibility between the lens and the intended frame.

Class Plus is high-resolution metrology system that measures power, cylinder, axis, and addition in all types of spectacle lenses including single vision, progressive, bifocal, toric, polarized, and unpolished blanks. With an accuracy of ±0.03D and repeatability of ±0.02D, it provides highly reliable data for QA and development.
The system uses Moire Deflectometry and produces 2D and 3D power/cylinder maps within 5 seconds per lens. Its key advantage is the extremely high data resolution generating tens of thousands of data points per measurement allowing engineers to detect subtle optical islands, edge artifacts, or power distortions that typical testers might miss.
It includes RMS power error analysis, virtual lensmeter comparison, corridor width/length detection for PALs, and toric axis recognition. These tools help QA engineers validate design integrity, verify surface uniformity, and detect deviations between designed and actual lens surfaces essential for freeform and custom optics.
Yes. Class Plus includes an In-Frame Compatibility Mode, allowing overlay of frame contours on power/cylinder maps. This ensures that optical zones align with intended frame geometry, reducing mismatch during edging or final assembly.
All measurements are automatically saved and can be exported in ASCII formats or integrated via SQL, local database, or LMS API. Built-in reporting tools enable custom PDF generation and batch-level traceability critical for regulated environments.
